LODGING POLICIES


VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS:

Our number one priority at Nemacolin Wooflands is the health of each pet. We ensure that each furry guest is current on their vaccinations. Individual circumstances may be considered with written documentation from a veterinarian. Titers are accepted with proper documentation.

* Vaccinations needed for Dogs: DHLPP, Rabies and Bordetella & flea free.
* Vaccinations needed for Cats: FVRCP, FLV/FELV and Rabies & flea free


CHECK IN:

Check-in time begins at 2:00PM (until close) in order to allow housekeeping ample time to properly sanitize and prepare each suite for the next guest. We shall make every attempt to accommodate special requests for early check-ins. There is always a full charge for the first day of stay, regardless of check-in time. Please allow an extra 15 minutes in your schedule to ensure accuracy at check-in.

Each client must complete a check-in menu and a grooming menu (if grooming) for each stay. If providing your own food, please prepare and label (by name) each serving in a separate baggy for the entire length of the stay. If medicating, please properly label and provide all medication for the entire length of the stay.

*For everyone's safety, ALL pets entering and exiting Nemacolin Wooflands must be on a leash or in a carrier until directed otherwise.


CHECKOUT:

Check-out time is 12:00PM (or earlier) in order to allow housekeeping ample time to properly sanitize and prepare each suite for its next guest that afternoon. Pets not picked up by 12:00PM will require additional care and be charged a $15.00 late check-out fee, unless scheduled for a grooming or Daycare service. For security purposes, proper photo identification may be required.


HEALTH/TRANSPORTATION:

In the best interest of all, each guest must meet our vaccination requirements. Pets requiring vaccination updates must have the vaccination(s) administered no less than ten days before check in. Nemacolin Wooflands reserves the right to refuse admittance to any pet guest for any reason, at any time, who lacks proof of vaccinations, displays signs of untreated or potentially contagious conditions, demonstrates aggressive behavior, or who fails our standard health and temperament policies.


BELONGINGS:

Owners are welcome to bring a familiar blanket or toy from home; however, it is not necessary as Nemacolin Wooflands is a full-service establishment and provides all the necessary clean bedding, and blankets which comfort your pet.


VISITATION:

Our pet guests are on vacation too, and visitation during boarding is allowed for owners.


DINING:

As recommended by our veterinary advisors, we feed a high quality dry kibble (We do not provide canned food). You may choose to provide your own food (at no additional charge), so long as each meal's serving size is prepared in a separate baggie and labeled appropriately, by meal, with your pet's first and last name on it. We feed three times daily - approximately 8 a.m., 12 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Extraordinary preparations may be subject to a fee. Room Service is available (menu is specially prepared food from the chefs at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort)


SPECIAL NEEDS & MEDICAL CARE:

Nemacolin Wooflands recognizes that some of our guests may have special needs. We encourage our clients to discuss any special requirements with us when making a reservation, including but not limited to: medications, supplements, special meal preparation, extra feeding times, daily brushing, puppy care, and senior care. (Additional charges may apply.)

Owner's will rest assured knowing that the Woodlands Animal Care Center is right next door, offering veterinary services should any health issues arise while your pets are on vacation with us.


TRANSPORTATION:

CANCELLATIONS:

We require owner's to make any cancellations with more than 3 days notice or a $25/pet charge will be billed to the credit card on file. We request 24-hour notice of cancellation for daycare or grooming services, so that we may reschedule without charging for missed appointments.
