The expert associates of Wooflands Pet Care Center are thoroughly trained in animal handling, dog behavior, and caregiving skills. Every associate has completed a comprehensive curriculum from The Dog Gurus, an industry-leading educational program dedicated to professional pet care. All team members are CPR certified.
Our History
Wooflands Pet Care Center was founded in June of 2015 as a sister facility to Wooflands Pet Resort & Spa, located at the luxurious Nemacolin resort in Farmington, PA. Nemacolin Founder Joseph A. Hardy III knew that the same love, care, and dedication Wooflands had provided to the pets of the Laurel Highlands could also serve the greater Pittsburgh area.
In 2016, Mr. Hardy transferred ownership of Wooflands to his daughter Maggie Hardy, who is the owner and CEO of Nemacolin resort and 84 Lumber Company.
Since 2009, the Wooflands group of luxury pet boarding and grooming centers has become the standard of excellence for pet care in Western Pennsylvania.
