Vaccination Requirements
The health and safety of our guests is our highest priority. Certification from a veterinarian is required for every pet before admittance into Wooflands Pet Care Center. If your pet requires an updated vaccination, please make arrangements for the vaccination to be administered no less than 10 days before any service is scheduled. All pets must have current vaccinations for the following:
Rabies, Distemper/Parvo Virus, Bordetella, Canine Influenza*
*The Canine Influenza vaccine is not a requirement. However, we highly recommend that all dogs visiting us receive this vaccination. Please consult with your veterinarian to make the best decision for your beloved pet.
You may fax your pet’s vaccination records directly from your veterinarian’s office to our fax machine at 724.942.3636 or email them to [email protected]. To speak directly with an associate, please contact us at 724.942.3333.
Boarding Policies
For everyone’s safety, all pets entering and exiting Wooflands Pet Care Center must be on a leash or in a carrier until directed otherwise.

Drop-off and pick-up is required between 8am and 5pm. Clients may pre-pay at drop-off if expected to arrive later than 5pm, on the day of departure. Clients who have pre-paid or have boarding packages may pick up as late as 7pm. Please allow an extra ten minutes in your schedule for the boarding check-in process.
Daycare Check-in & Check-out
Drop-off and pick-up is required between 8am and 5pm. Clients that pre-pay at drop-off have until 7pm, to pick up their pets. Clients with daycare packages may drop off and pick up between 7:30am and 7pm.
Wellness
Wooflands Pet Care Center associates are dedicated to the health and wellness of your pet. A staff veterinarian from our partner, Wooflands Veterinary Center, is on call 24 hours a day in case of an emergency. If your pet should require medical attention while in our care, our protocol is to contact our staff veterinarian and/or shuttle your pet to the nearest available emergency veterinarian.
Wooflands Pet Care Center reserves the right to refuse admittance to any pet guest for any reason, at any time, who lacks proof of vaccinations, displays signs of untreated or potentially contagious conditions, demonstrates aggressive behavior, or who fails our standard health and temperament policies.
Special Needs & Medical Care
Wooflands Pet Care Center recognizes that some of our guests may have special needs. We encourage our clients to discuss any special requirements with us when making a reservation, including but not limited to: medications, supplements, special meal preparation, extra feeding times, daily brushing, puppy care, and senior care. We offer supplements that may assist your pet’s special needs during their stay, like calming treats and probiotic treats, for an additional charge. Wooflands associates are trained to administer any oral or topical medications your dog may require during their visit. We cannot administer injectable medications. If your pet is on medication, please bring in their labeled prescriptions and provide doctor’s instructions for the entire length of their stay.
Belongings
Owners are welcome to bring items that will help their pet feel more comfortable. Bedding, blankets, and toys that smell like home can help your pet feel more familiar in the new environment. This is strongly suggested for boarding pets due to the length of their stay. We provide pets with a variety of bedding and bowls that fit the special needs of your pet. We do not recommend bringing in your own towels or bowls, unless they are labeled with your pet’s name.
Dining
For the health and safety of your pet, we strongly recommend bringing your pet’s current food for their boarding stay or daycare stay if applicable. Switching diets during the time of boarding may lead to digestive upset. Please prepare and label your pet’s food with individual bags per meal for their entire stay.
In the event that your pet is without their current food, we do provide in-house wet and dry food formulas. Recommended by our veterinarian at Wooflands Veterinary Center, our in-house wet and dry foods are formulated for sensitive stomachs. Our in-house meals are available for an additional fee of $5 per meal.
Visitation & Facility Tours
Visitation during boarding is allowed for owners during our lobby hours of 8am-6pm. Tours are provided as a walk-in service and can be given at any time during lobby hours. No appointment is required.
Cancellations
We ask owners to make any cancellations at least three days prior to their arrival date for boarding, daycare, and grooming appointments.
Holidays
We do not provide any daycare or boarding drop-offs or pick-ups on holidays. Our lobby is closed on the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, the Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
Complimentary Temperament Test Day
Temperament tests are mandatory for first-time boarders and daycare clients. The test day is a complementary half-day of daycare to familiarize your pet with our facility. Your pet will enjoy all of the enrichment activities in our yard spaces and group play throughout this stay. Your pet will be introduced to new dogs of a similar size and play style, one at a time, to reduce anxiety until they are fully integrated into our play groups. We ask for 3-5 hours with your pet to get acquainted. Drop-off times for test days are between 8am-12pm. Temperament tests are required for all guests, including pets that are not dog-friendly and will not be introduced to our play groups.
